Roy Lichtenstein: the Art Institute of Chicago
For the largest retrospective of American icon Roy Lichtenstein yet, I created a behind-the-scenes video with curator James Rondeau. I concepted, shot, interviewed, and edited – soup to nuts, on this one. It took only a week, start to finish, and was perhaps the only video I ever produced where the client had no edits.
We also designed a corresponding exhibition microsite (for which I led concepting, UX, and creative direction), which included interactive sliders to explore the relationship between the artist's sketches and the final paintings.
A series of A/B tests helped us optimize the site for member acquisition, encouraging one-off exhibition audiences to become persistent supporters.
